One Night to Fall, A Novella by Kelsey Kingsley
📖🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟😍💖💕💕 I've always loved second chance love stories. I mean, why not?! Isn't that what life's all about? Another chance to right a wrong? To redeem ourselves from the mistakes of our past? Even if we had only ONE night to make the most of that second chance we've been waiting a decade of our lives for? To get back the one person we've loved our whole lives, the only one we will ever love? That's what this little novella is all about. One Night to Fall is one of the most emotional and beautifully written second chance stories I've read. I felt so conflicted as I was torn between anger and sadness for the both Kinsey and Patrick. Kinsey, not being sure of herself or her future, did something that she regretted. Patrick, reeling from Kinsey's abrupt decision, did something that was too costly for him to take back. This altered the course of their lives, ultimately interfering with what seemed like their destiny since they were kids. Going down memory lane with Patrick and Kinsey just about ripped my little heart apart. I hated what they put themselves through. I wanted to hate Kinsey. I wanted to hold her. I wanted to hate Patrick. I wanted to hug him. In the end, I just couldn't bring myself to be angry with either of them any more. I cried, hoping they would make their way back to each other, and cried harder when they did.😂 Ms. Kingsley played my heart like a fiddle by letting me inside both Patrick's and Kinsey's head. . . and heart. ************💕💕💕💕💕💕************ My Kinsey Favorites: "I looked down at my shuffling feet. Traitors." "My arms instinctively wrapped around his neck. Traitors" "He inched forward, brushing his lips against mine as he spoke, and my body betrayed me with a gasp. Traitor." "He took a chance, leaned down, and brushed his lips against mine. An inward gasp shook my body at his touch, my lips aching for more as he backed away. Traitors." Patrick's Clencher: "That you're in love with me." Kinsey then says, "I'm not falling back in love with again." Of course, Patrick replies with: "Hey, I never said anything about again. You can't fall back in, if you never got out." **Well, it does make sense, doesn't it?!😂😂**
