Noble and Noni!! 4/5 Stars!!
Noble is everything a book boyfriend encompasses: confident, sexy, romantic, strong, and kind. He was determined to get his woman back; even after all that time had passed, he never stopped loving Noni...
And we all know that if Noni was being honest with herself, her heart never stopped beating for him, too...
I just wished Noni had a little bit of Noble's confidence in dealing with his cuckoo mother! Barbara was a piece of work! Their interactions were frustrating!! I understand respecting your elders, but there is no way she should have gotten away with even half of the things she said! At one point of the story, I wanted to shake Noni, and put Noble's mother in a fierce headlock!
Supporting characters: Mia and Lyla are awesome!! I snorted when Noni's friends offered to "give her (Barbara-Noble's mom) a two-piece combo!" LOL! These two chicas were hilarious! I love how they had Noni's back, but also didn't gloss over the truth! They kept it 100!
If I can just get back to Noble for a sec...the brother was smooth, and it wasn't long before he had Noni under his spell again! I absolutely adore second chance romances, and I love them even better when there's a HEA!!
