I love Declan and Paige! They're two tortured souls who are desperately trying to survive, or barely surviving through the pain and nightmares, and then given a second chance at love, freedom, and happiness.
This is the first book I've read of A.M. Johnson's, and I am super-impressed!! Her use of words to paint pictures in the reader's mind--you know you've hit on something amazing when you can FEEL the words, SEE imagery, reach out and TOUCH the emotion as it comes to life--it's like poetry in motion... What a beautiful, dark, and dramatic masterpiece Possession is...can't wait to continue the rest of the Avenues Ink Series!
