Let's take a minute to briefly talk about Claire Kingsley's fictional town of Jetty Beach. This is the kind of place that is so reminiscent of small, cozy towns with friendly neighbors, wonderful families, and cool hang outs. Not only do the locals love it, but visitors passing through Jetty Beach can't help but fall in love with this place and decide to stay. Come on! What's not to love about a place that is literally just a hop, skip, and a jump away from a beautiful beach? Claire's description of Jetty Beach is so appealing, it completely draws you in. It sounds like the kind of town where it doesn't matter where you run away to, or where you come from, it just calls to your heart, and you're left with no choice but to answer. After all, the sign entering this imaginary place reads: "Welcome to Jetty Beach: The ocean is calling . . . answer the call."
That old adage, "Home is Where the Heart is" definitely applies to Jetty Beach. Even the author herself couldn't stay away from the fictional little haven she created.  Not only are all four of Claire's first books set in Jetty Beach, but she adds three more books in another series titled Back to Jetty Beach.  Once again we're invited to join a new set of characters, and reunite with some familiar faces for breezy, romantic, and relaxing strolls along the beach's shores. Readers who are fans of the Jetty Beach Series get to fall in love with their favorite fictional town all over again. Â
